CLUB NOON

Enjoy a special night in Osaka with the European film artists !
We bring you this event in collaboration with CLUB NOON, a club with a long history in the underground music scene of Osaka.
This club event is also a unique chance to get to know another face of the guests of the festival and to chat with them in a totally informal atmosphere...
This year, you will be able to enjoy a great line-up of the artists from Italiy and Japan, all of them brought to us by SONORE (see below for more info).
BAKIRINOSU
Osaka
Live set
Fed by diverse influences, the twin voices of Bakirinosu have their roots in popular Japanese music and travel, a cappella, along melodic lines that evoke both European folklore and the sound of unknown threnody, from further away. An eclecticism that is full of sap, autodidact and free of complexes, thus proving that originality does not have to be technical.
OKAPI
Italy
Live set
Økapi started playing with vinyls and turntables influenced by the new music scene of plagiarists and radical djs, while holding on to the classic “acousmatic “ approach of concrete and electro acoustic music. He collaborated with artists such as Damo Suzuki, Peter Brotzmann, Andy EX, Mike Patton, Christian Marclay.
BEBE DEL BANCO
Osaka
Live set

An all-star band formed by the members of Orionza + Ugh, MC Frosen Pine and *es from Satanicpornocultshop. Absurd spasms of hardrock, screams, howls, feedback and minimalist lyrics, this new style is called “chopstick-crustcore”: like disposable chopsticks it cannot be used if it’s not broken.

OORUTAICHI
Osaka
Live set
OORUTAICHI began recording and performing in 1999, inspired by The Residents, The Doors, Tyrannosaurus Rex, Aphex Twin and Dancehall Reggae. Initial recordings were multi-tracked improvisations using "real" instruments, toys and voice, evolving to composed songs using midi triggered instrumentation. The strong melodies, wide-ranging beats & free style chorus work create an original sound that could almost be traditional music from a fictitious country called "OORUTAICHI".
MICROPUPAZZO
Italy
Live set
DJ Scheisse and Grand Master Ghei were trapped in a space/time vortex where videogames music mixes up with Bee-Gees samples and sedated horses’ neighs. Under the name of Micropupazzo they have been terrifying the 8 bit European scene for seven years with short and devastating live shows, built up on slaughtered basses and a whole bunch of self-modified instruments.

DODDODO
Osaka
Live set
Doddodo makes cute cut-up mayhem. Low and dirty beats are mashed with toy melodies; found sounds, country music and banjos, and gut wrenching vocals. Live, Doddodo is masked in braids and ribbons, but unmistakeable. She howls, talks, sings and screams, loading and reloading the sampler with equal parts kawaii and death metal.

DJ BALLI
Italy
Live set
dj-producer active in the field of "hard-electronics blaxploitation", a contamination between black rhythm (jungle, hip-hop, ragga dance-hall) and experimental sounds from the tradition of European avant-garde. He manages the Italian label "Sonic Belligeranza" dedicated to innovative breaks, his subdivision "+ Belligeranza" dedicated to noise and finally "- Belligeranza" dedicated to down-tempo extravaganza.

+++CAINA
Italy
