The call for entry of the 16th Osaka European Film Festival, to take place in November 2009, has come to an end on May 31st 2009.

We wish to thank the hundreds of filmmakers and production companies that kindly decided to submit their films.

We will now complete our review of the movies to come up with our selection of more or less 10 works that will be presented a Japanese premiere next November as the main section of the festival.

For filmmakers who wish to submit films from now on, please note that our next call for entries will open on January 1st 2010.
