A multi-stranded romantic-comedy set in modern Amsterdam, Love is All was a huge hit in Holland, drawing over a million viewers to the cinema.

Taking place on November 5th, the day the Dutch celebrate the advent of Saint Nicholas, the film follows a number of intertwining stories. When Klaasje’s father unexpectedly dies, she leaves her son in the care of her estranged husband to prepare for the funeral. Simone visits her husband at work only to find that he was fired some time ago. Department store clerk Kiki dreams of being swept away by her prince charming, but stutters at the chance when she meets a real prince, Valentijn. Kees has cold feet before her wedding day after reflecting on her father’s abandonment of her when she was a child.
