The Pirkanmaa Film Centre has been advancing the knowledge of film culture in the Tampere region, Finland, since 1982. The Film Centre arranges screenings at its own cinema and in the entire Tampere region; educates and informs; and co-operates with cultural and educational organizations. The Film Centre also maintains its own film archives.
