Only 2 months after his visit to Osaka as Honorary Chairman of the 15th Osaka European Film Festival, we had the chance to meet with Maurice Jarre again last February at the Berlinale at the occasion of his being awarded a Honorary Golden Bear.
Sadly, this meeting was to be the last, as we just heard that Maurice had passed away on March 31, 2009. He was 84.
